Delivery- Returns.

 Below are our general delivery rules. But don't hesitate to get in touch by email in case of emergency 7 days a week between 9 am - 10 pm. As our email is always checked inside these times. 

Standard Delivery Times/prices:

UK, Highlands & Islands :Orders placed Monday -Thursday before 3pm: 1-2 days. Any orders that are placed before 3 pm on Friday can be sent out for delivery Saturday (90%) the following 10% get delivered on the Monday. We always add extra ice-packs to orders being sent out on Friday.

Orders under £70 - £3.90. Orders over £70  FREE.

Next day Express/ Special delivery : UK Mainland, Highlands & Islands.: placed Monday - Thursday before 3 pm: 1 day.

Orders under £70- £6.90  orders over £70- £3.50

Saturday Delivery for orders placed Friday before 3 pm.

Orders under £70- £12.00. Orders between £70 -£299.99 - £3.50. Orders over £300.00 - FREE

EU: Orders placed before 16.00 (UK time) Monday - Thursday. 1-2 days. ( Most are next day delivery.Some more remote locations can take 2 days. and will be shipped the following Monday). We can ship on Friday by agreement and will add extra ice-packs to these orders.

Orders under £135.00 (€150-€155.)- £12.00/€14.00

Orders  between £135.00- £227.00 (€150- €260.)- £5.00/€6.00

Orders over £227.00/ €260.00 - FREE Delivery. 

USA/Canada: At present we cannot offer delivery to North America. 

Christmas/New-Year Shipment/Opening times:


London deliveries: (If you have a specific delivery request then please do get in touch).

Orders over £50 all over London Zone1- 2. & over £100 in Zones 3-4 is FREE Monday- Friday between 10 am - 8 pm.Saturdays 12 pm - 8 pm. Later & Sundays by agreement.

All orders are packed with small ice packs that can keep your order chilled for up to 72 hours.

Most orders are sent off with Royal Mail 1st/2nd class signed for delivery, or Special (Guaranteed next day) delivery. All orders are trackable on Royal Mail's website. A tracking number will be emailed when your order is dispatched. 

There are several reasons for using Royal Mail :

Most customers know their postman and he will often know where to hide a parcel if your not home.(But we do recommend that you leave a signed note on the door if your not home, or you can risk having to collect it at the local delivery office).

Most Royal mail deliveries are in the morning and customers will normally have a time-slot when to expect a delivery. 

Royal Mail charge the same flat-rate cost ( by law) to the whole of the UK, the Highlands & Islands. So no matter if you live in Bristol, Aberdeen, Belfast or isle of Man/Jersey the cost of the delivery will be the same. The lowest trackable service in the UK. 

If you are not home to receive your order then please leave a signed note to tell the courier where they can place/deliver the order close to your house. You are then responsible for the delivery after that.

95% of all orders are delivered next day, tho it can take 48 hours for some locations, or due to Mother nature or local traffic conditions.

Conditions of Delivery


Our caviar is shipped next available day and should normally reach you within 24 - 48 hours.

All purchases are shipped off with a small ice pack that will keep the caviar chilled for up to 72 hours.

Please chill the caviar on receipt. Once opened use within 3 days.

Our caviar normally has 3 - 6 months shelf life. We receive fresh products every week. we pride ourselves in having some of the freshest caviar available.

If for any reason you think your caviar is off then please do get in touch so we can arrange a return and we swap it for you or even refund you in some cases.

When your purchase has been shipped off we normally send out a tracking number where you can follow your order and if it has not arrived within 2 days then please track it or get in touch with us as soon as possible.

As we often like to add a small FREE gift, or even upgrade to a bigger product for many of our return customers, we ask you please don't get upset about this, it's just a good-will gesture/thank you for coming back to us. We cherish our repeat customers and often like to show our gratitude.


Your right to return goods is governed by the UK's Distance Selling Regulations 2000.

In most cases we won't argue or discuss with our customers and if you are not happy with your purchase then we will arrange a return/refund or replacement. Only in very seldom cases will we refuse this. WE like to think we have some of the best customer service around. We will generally reply to most emails 7 days a week and until 9pm in the evening. So if you should have a question then don't hesitate to get in touch.


If you should wish to return your order then it remains your responsibility to ensure that all goods are returned to CCL promptly, securely and in a saleable condition, and pay all postage costs in doing so.


Upon receiving returned items that meet the above conditions we will issue you with a refund, minus original shipping costs, to the format in which you paid within 4 days.

  1. Pricing and availability

We list availability information for products sold by us on the website, including on each product information page. Beyond what we say on that page or otherwise on the website, we cannot be more specific about availability. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any products you order turn out to be unavailable. As we get fresh Caviar delivered every week it can happen that we run out of a specific product. If this is the case we will get in touch and offer you an upgrade, alternative product or inform you of when your order will be in stock. 

We verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

  1. Customs

When ordering goods from CCL for Non EU delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from CCL, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Please note that Caviar and Foie Gras cannot be exported outside of the European Union Mainland.
